In the early hours of this morning my family emergency, so readily mocked by others, became the loss of my father.

As such, I just wanted to make clear that my short period of inactivity will be a lot longer, but it will not be forever, so for those who’ve messaged me, please be patient and I’ll be back sometime in the future.

I’ll take this opportunity to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, take care, enjoy the holidays and I’ll catch you all sometime in the New Year :)

I’ve cleared my queue and sadly it’ll be all the Lilibet/Philip from me for a while. I’ve just received some family news which has left me shaken up and I just want to be with my family right now. I hope y’all understand and I’ll try to pop in and see you all when I can, no promises I’m afraid.

A thank you also to y’all who have told me about this new ‘blog’. If they want to attack me when I’m at a entirely vulnerable point, as I am now, so be it.

This is one of my favorite photo’s that I took of H.R.H. Prince Philip in Rarotonga in 1972. From memory he was looking at Mary (Meme) Macquarie. I took this photo at Taputapuatea and Mary had just given Prince Philip a ‘kiss’ on the cheek which is normal island-style ‘Welcome’… Meme did ask H.R.H. first, I remember that! Prince Philip couldn’t stop smiling the rest of the afternoon and kissed more than one or two of the ladies island-style after that. H.R.H. said that he would love to return to Rarotonga again.
